Divine Smell of Cadbury’s Eclairs!

Describe your dream chocolate bar.

~ Daily Prompt 1960

I still hold a special memory of chocolate, the Eclairs brand sweet, of course it is not a bar. It was in Dark brown color and stout (young years’ perception) and filled in it was the liquid chocolate.

When the eclairs are unwrapped and popped into your mouth, and if you sink your teeth in it, the chocolate filling oozes out surprising you. And that experience has been embedded in my memory for eternity.

I still miss that eclairs are lot. But the present version is more caramelized and gets stuck in between the teeth and care needs to be taken to clean up after eating the sweet.

If I Were to Dream of a Chocolate Bar

Hmm…how shall it taste. This is clearly not my fort at all. As a foot soldier in the army of taste, I sadly lack the skill to dream up a chocolate. It is a Gender bias that I should know about chocolate because I am a woman.

Sadly, the case at hand for me is the dream chocolate bar, I only had KitKat. Those wafers wrapped wonders! I loved Almond Kisses. Hershey Kisses products are great too.

Comparing American Chocolate Bar vs. Indian Chocolate Bar

Our chocolate bars compared to American version are docile small bars. It took me sometime to understand quantities of American eatery orders. Even the Small was humongous for me.

So, I prefer in Indian size American chocolates. But then, I am not talking about my dream chocolate. Because I don’t have a dream chocolate.

I only have memories from the past of chocolates, to imagine a chocolate bar at that is going to be challenging.

Dreaming Now…

Chocolate Bar!!! I want a chocolate bar which is small cubes with mixed filling inside, roasted almond, strawberry, blueberry, crackling caramel, mint, and orange tangy!

A huge box of chocolate cannot be bar. Or a box of chocolate bars. Who knows what sweet will turn up next? I feel so surreally like Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump!

I never ate chocolate until I felt a deep-seated need. When I am sad, I don’t gobble chocolates, I find a lone place with some trees and just cry until all the crying is done. It clears up the mind and clarity of thought arrives after the emotions are spent.

Multi-Flavored Chocolate Filled Bar

I would love the Chocolate Bar to have a surprising filling in it that oozes out and gives you another view of life. I wish to have such a bar, but then, I am happy with whatever was discovered so far in my industry’s advancement.

I failed in this prompt, in the middle class setting you don’t get so many chocolate bars. We eat Gems a brand in India, we have on rare occasion Cadbury eclairs, Cadbury Fruit and Nuts, Cadbury Five Stars.

All these already exist and what new dream can I provide. I happy with has been discovered already!!
