Daily Practice to Live Sustainably!

Daily writing prompt
Are there things you try to practice daily to live a more sustainable lifestyle?

There is a kind of partial routine since it changes with time and situations. I didn’t believe in daily practice before but now as my skills are leaving me, I kind of understand the need for having daily practice. To make my day more productive and meaningful.

I have come up with a new activity for myself since yesterday. I found that if I write down my goals, I don’t tend to finish them or even worse begin them. So, I decided that I map the task in such a way that they would sequence to it.

Give Your Day a Good Start

Starting from my basic personal hygiene to the actual work that I want to accomplish are in my mind as a set of sequence. I mentally check off my tasks and with each completion, I am motivated to do more in the day’s span.

I found that heavy planning is not required, just a few mental pointers could accomplish more effectively. When one plans, then half the effort goes into the planning process, so that there is very little energy left to make it happen.

The first task that you do at the break of dawn depends on how you want to structure your day. Around this aspect of planning the day lies the success of the endeavor that you wish to pursue.

Learning Is a Constant

I found that you cannot avoid making mistakes and the best way to handle mistakes is to stop worrying about your face value and focus on where things went wrong. The idea here is to recognize if the problem at hand for you was it something to do with your understanding at that point or something else.

Learning from the experience of failure or failed attempt as you should call it. So, very much like the ‘itsy bitsy spider’ you should also climb up the faucet even when the rain brought it down. That part of your promise to yourself must be carried out without compromise.

The lesson should be mind tagged so that you will remember at crucial times what will happen to make things go wrong. Being conscious of the moment and knowing the practicality of a task helps for the most part. Then, it is matter of finding the right way to involve your higher discerning mind.

Coming Up With Solutions That Work

Early morning routine should also include thinking through things and finding the best-fit solutions. The mind after a restful sleep is ready to wake up and do things for you. Being receptive to the brain’s efforts and keeping it in good stead takes a lot of human hour and effort.

There are many ways to bring a particular dream into reality by including small tasks that add up to the eventual goal that you have set in mind. A little everyday makes an ocean of things. Daily Practice gives me a sense of direction where I am heading out for the day!

Make sure to praise yourself too when if you even practice a tiny bit of your task for encouragement motivates and pulling yourself down is counter-productive to progress.
