The video interview with Keerthy and host of Beerbisceps Ranveer on Tamil culture and history reshaped my understanding of my 10th grade history and the impact of British influence on Indian diaspora. As the final batch writing the Anglo-Indian syllabus was a nerve wrecking challenge, but it also taught me the value of the learning process over focusing solely on results. Various styles of learning, such as bird's eye view, worker bee, worker ant, worker fish, and elephant memory learning, have shaped my education. The view on history needs to be re-evaluated to provide a more balanced and insightful perspective, especially in relation to the turbulent history of Southern India. The narrative of history has often been manipulated by those in power, and it is crucial to approach the subject with a fresh insight. Visual learning aids are essential in captivating the attention of modern-day students. Despite the struggles and mistakes of the past, there remains hope for a peaceful future.
