Human experiences on earth is visceral passing of events. We came here alone and would leave alone but within that short period of stay we learn our life’s lessons. Our human needs for connecting with another human being makes us who we aim to be in life.
Our companions, then, are people who we call by so many different labels such as Parents, Siblings, Friend for life, Loving Supporter, Bestie, BFF, Life Partner and many other labels. But none of these always are with you like your own inner self.
So, if you place more importance for external appearance of your network of people in your life, then, you are giving up on the bigger picture for small short scenes.
For finding and being dependent on a companion is not so important as the lone journey by yourself. I understood this, only after spending a few years by myself, after my late parent left to stay with my siblings.
Three Points to Self-Progress
There are three things that define the Self-Progress in our lives. They are the following:
- Know and understand that Life is an Uninterrupted Journey
- Inner Reflection of the Divine that leaves you breathless
- Fusion of Inner and Outer Worlds for better understanding of life
When we understand these three important key points then, it is easier to feel that life’s lessons are repetitive and for a specific reason unknown to humankind. So, in this way, the life’s lessons are easier to be tied down into personal and experiential lessons.
It is difficult to understand the complex human mind. The more the complexities then, more complicated is the lesson. Why with each advancing year the human understanding keeps changing.
Is this emancipating or dissipating as we live it. Is this then a Progress?!! It is in finding your progress what are the milestones marked! I believe that each life’s progress milestones are lesson finished or in arrears.
Life, an Uninterrupted Journey
Life does not stop for anything. The sand in the turned hour-glass continues to flow out of our hands. In the end, we are left with nothing but lessons from experience either missed or earned!
We could spend our time reflecting or regretting for our spent time. But the understanding the deeper meaning of each experience of life would be a by-product of experiential living.
Life is like a well-walked path where things, people and place keep on moving unrelentingly. Being stuck in the past, I would not suggest. It is important to break free by either forgiving or forgetting and to move on with life.
It is easier said than done, but then, giving importance to the specific incident from the past will hold you a prisoner for life. Give yourself some time to heal and then, decide to move on with the uninterrupted journey.
Inner Reflection of the Divine
Diverting the reference point of your life from external nature bound forces to deeply embedded Divine is very crucial. This allows your perceptions to be aligned with for general good than preferential choice.
The inner Divine is filled with blameless kindness and goodness. If our call to actions is based on the inner reference point, then even in failure there is a sense of accomplishing the right choices towards a specific outcome.
If there is a failure due to the choices taken, then it is relearning time to look at what went wrong in the first place and how to rectify it in the future. The choices that we have in our hands are limited. The global view of a problem is limited by the finite number of perspectives that is allowed to a human.
No one has the complete picture of the whole problem. One should not aim to do things by themselves. One should learn to gather information from all fractions and then make a studied plan for final implementation.
Sometimes, it would be a good idea to process a small fraction of the plan in a test group and then use it large scale organisational levels. This step, not only, allows you to perfect the solution implemented; but also, nitpick any faults before a large scale implementation of the said solution.
For having such level of perspectives, one needs to reflect on the Divine to show you the higher acumen. Higher level perceptions of the issues and problem faced in life need a studied approach.
The fact, that people and situations are variable that act differently and are for the most part unpredictable. Amongst unpredictability surrounding us, to hold a clear understanding and perceptions are difficult.
Having the inner balance generated from the Divine would help to reduce the agitation that one finds in an unbalanced person. The reflection on the Divine, not only, saves personal stress from unsure decision; but also, provides the timely help with having an in-depth understanding of the situation that one faces.
Fusion of Inner and Outer Worlds
The Inner and Outer Worlds are two aspects of human experience. The Inner World consists of human being’s mind, soul, and body. While the Outer World consists of the physical world and its nature bound physiology.
To understand the best working of both these worlds, one must primarily conquer the inner and reflect on the outer phenomena. Setting peace as the central point for all activities should be aimed for, while you move or be moved by the inner and outer world.
Conquering the inner world while observing the outer world is two separate concepts that work in tandem with each other. The understanding of the inner world is more possible when the outer world is understood for its limitation.
The need of the moment is always decided by which world is more overpowering over the other. When the inner world is strongly held with determination then, the outcome in the outer world could be any permutation or combination from which the person is not affected by it.
While this allows for clarity among the experiencer, it also speaks for the maturity of the suggested solution to an issue. For instance, if a person in a conversation with you seeks your advice and when you do provide it, the person is full of hurdles.
This person hasn’t settled his or her inner turmoil. At this stage of unrest within is not ready to listen to any advice. At that point, you can change tactics and ask about what the person find irksome.
By letting the person speak and get clarity in their perception then through gentle coxing and leading, let the person themselves find a solution. At this point, provide the person with perspective pointers to their solution this would be the global perspectives to a singular problem in the self-prescribed solution.
To Wrap Up Lesson in Life
Learning is a continuous process and to understand that it takes a lot of effort to put together different thought fractions and get a solution that is a best fit for all. It takes a lot of effort, personal and a group activity-based figuring out. Whether the problem is small or big, the treatment remains the same.
Understanding the three points in finding solutions or achieving self-understanding there are multiple approach to a problem. Ensure that you do not leave any stone unturned in finding the right fix to your problems in life.
